WOW, WHAT A WAKEUP!

Summer Bridge Activities include: Reading, Writing, Math, and Language Skills! This we will do through out the summer. We will also continue our Bible Studies and both oral and silent reading. I will most likely give a reading list to keep track of the different material we read. And I will most likely place it under Dawn's Resources placed to the upper right of this page. Baseball season is now over and the boys received the coolest medals. Pictures are on the gallery!

Tuesday

• Lesson 54 of Math
• Read Chapter 1 of Animal Farm by George Orwell
• Physical Science Lesson 1-1 do the sentences under Check on page 3. Type the sentences in Abiword. Save them on the Stuff drive.
• Physical Science Lesson 1-2 : do the check assignments on page 5 (same as above, but write true or false)
• in your stuff that you type in abiword, put the date and the lesson page at the top (so i can know what you are doing )

Social Studies

I want you to prepare your work and know all about the early Greeks.
I want you to focus on the time between 100BC and 50AD.
Write your essay on this. Include info on the government, culture, religious diversity, etc...
make me proud.

Event- Continue Reading , Bible Study, Governments, Memorization- together Rediscovering His Kingdom! And finish your vocabulary on the governments we have been discussing! Continue also to pray against strife! Continue to pursue the quest to know what is true and why you do what you do! It is important in life to understand what you believe is true and why you follow it! Be able to give an answer to these questions. Write the most important thing down and think about the reasons. Let's discuss together why we do what we do!

Event- Bible Study, Government, Vocabulary, Current Events - Continue to read Rediscovering His Kingdom! In order to under kingdoms we need to understand some more government structures like: democracy, socialism, communism, dictatorship!
